He could get varible editor such as ram cheat(free i think) which will work on almost any game. If he really wants trainers he should be able to find some free ones to try out(probably the same ones that site charges for), just download from a reputable site otherwise you will end up those problems SEH was talking about. Does that make me legit? They probably contain spyware, malware, rootkits, key loggers, etc. Tell your brother to just play the games like everyone else, unless he wants his PC bogged down with crap. Most games have a way to enable cheats normally. Especially, on the PC.

Unlike Console you can use those console cheats or mad editor commands to skip levels and what not. Trainers are more for RPG or games where stats enable content. I thought a trainer sat in memory while the game is running to do it's thing. There's another method of RAM editing? Manual app or something?

Once you use a trainer you will be limited to offline play only though as most online services have 'Punkbuster' or some measure to prevent 'cheats' from going online. Thankfully he's not the type of dick that would do that online. He has to start thinking outside of the 'Press X' mentality of console gaming.

Does that make me legit?Lol I never said it was legit, but if there goal is to make money then they are going to want to sell quality trainers or at least not intentionally drive away customers, if there goal is to infect as many people as possible(for whatever reason) then they would probably give away the trainers for free.
