Hello everyone, I'm preparing files for a local television and they must follow the following requirements: QuickTime file with „.mov ” extension (with audio) codec: XDCAM HD (50Mbit/s) 4:2:2 (PAL HD 1080i) Normally, I mixdown all video tracks to DNxHD 120 and then I can export them with 'same as source' settings (or to QTR if needed). The point is that now I had to mixdown my videos to XDCAM HD 50 Mbits to meet the requirements, but if you do so, you can't export them with 'same as source' settings since when you do it, the 'Long GOP cannot be exported as same as source' message appears. So the question is: what's the quickest method to export from AVID to quicktime with XDCAM codec?
I know that you can export directly to device (any XDCAM HD device or virtual disc) but this allows you to create a XDCAM MXF OP1a file and that's not the point in this case.
For your information, I still use Avid MC 5.5 but it shouldn't be a big issue. Thank you for any help, Robert PS: I spent the whole morning searching for an answer, but if there is a thread on the forums with a solution for my problem, then please let me know.
